This fiddle, built by JH Abernathy of Portsmouth, VA, is a wonderful-sounding instrument...just give the demo with our friend Nathan Aldridge a listen below. There are 3 spots of slight, repaired damage of some sort on the ribs (see photo). The original scroll was very nicely grafted onto a new neck, and the peg holes have been bushed. The result is a fiddle that sounds great & plays great. It has been professionally set up and needs nothing but to be played!
