1930s Vicente Tatay Spanish Classical
SOLD
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

It's not often we get a true Spanish-made classical, and this one has certainly blown us away since arriving in the shop. Made in Valencia, Spain in the 1930's, this guitar features a Cedar top, rosewood back & sides, and a mahogany neck. The tuners are modern replacements, and the bridge has been re-glued previously. There is evidence of a few previously addressed back cracks, but no other previous repairs or modifications. Plus it's so light, it feels like it might float away! Comes in a hardshell case.

Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 15 1/8 in. (38.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.).
