The HD-28 has been one of Martin's most popular models for decades, and they sure don't seem to last long around here! It features the standard HD-28 specs of the time: Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with 1 11/16" nut width, scalloped X-bracing pattern, and Grover tuners. Cosmetically this guitar is in really good, but played, condition. You can see on the back where it rubbed up against someone, and there are your average swirl/handling marks on the guitar. There is a small amount of fret wear, mostly in cowboy position through the first five frets under the E&B strings, but nothing impacting the playability of the guitar. The guitar is set up really well and plays great with plenty of saddle showing, and is definitely in the “above average” category as far as tone. Comes in the original hardshell case.
