This 1955 D-28 is a fine sounding example with gorgeous Brazilian rosewood back & sides! Other appointments include a Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony bridge & fingerboard, and “waffle back” Kluson tuners. This guitar has had a previous neck reset & refret, as well as a replacement bridge. The original bridge was bolted down through the bridge plate; those holes were filled and the original bridge plate was retained. There is a small area around the bridge where some finish was disturbed, but no touch up or extra finish was applied. There is some play wear throughout, mainly around the pickguard, back, and on the back of the neck. This one feels like an old friend as soon as you pick it up! Comes in a period hardshell case.
