This beautiful 1950 D-28 came to us needing not much more than some fresh strings and a new owner to play it for many years to come! The finish, bridge plate, and "waffle back" tuners are all original to the instrument (the tuner screws do not appear original). The bridge and pickguard are very nice replacements, and the guitar was fitted with a new ivory nut and saddle when it was re-fretted and the neck was re-set. As far as previous repairs, there is one repaired crack in the top, and a small bit of finish touch up in front of the new bridge. Playability is excellent with nice, low action and plenty of saddle height. Check out the demo video below!
