The '39 Authentic D-18 features true-to-era appointments including an Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back & sides, rear-shifted scalloped bracing, all hide glue construction, 1 11/16" nut width, mahogany neck with Authentic neck carve and heel, and period-correct style 18 appointments. This model is pre-VTS (short for Martin's "Vintage Tone System"), so it sports a standard nitrocellulose finish instead of the "Vintage Gloss" formulation. Cosmetically it shows some signs of play wear, but is in fine condition overall. It plays and sounds fantastic....demo video coming soon!
