This 000-21 is as fine an example as we've come across...the total package! It is in original condition save for a new saddle after a neck reset, and free of repairs aside from the often unavoidable B-string crack. It features a Sitka spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back & sides, rosewood bridge & fingerboard, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. The finish, pickguard, bridge, bridge plate, tuners, nut, and bridge pins are all original (with the exception of the low E pin). The guitar is still housed in the original green-lined Geib case, which is tagged "Cooper Brothers, New Kensington, PA" inside the lid, where this guitar was initially purchased on May 4, 1956. The original bill of sale is still in the case pocket in the amount of $184.55, payable in 12 installments. Strummed it has a very direct, focused sound, but its tonal complexities really seems to shine though when played fingerstyle.
