This is one of those guitars that looks like it could tell a million stories, and even already comes with a name ("Doris"). This '51 00-18 is just back from luthier Rob Sharer who did a fantastic job getting this guitar ready for whoever will play it for the next 60 years. Although very well worn on the top, the guitar itself is crack-free and just had a recent neck set and full refret. The results are a great-playing guitar with perfect action and playability across the fingerboard. A small ebony helper was added to the original bridge plate; the original bridge had been shaved down some in the past but fortunately was able to be saved. The pickguard and tuners are original to the instrument. Comes in a hardshell case.
