For those unfamiliar, Paul Duff builds exceptionally fine mandolins from his home base in Perth, Australia. Paul typically builds three batches of four instruments per year, with a total yearly production around a dozen or so. This mandolin, #183, features beautiful bookmatched Sugar maple back, sides & neck, an Adirondack top, tone bar construction, ebony Loar-era replica bridge, silver-plated & engraved hinged James tailpiece, a hand-stained sunburst with French-polish varnish, and hand-cut Fern inlay in mother-of-pearl and abalone. Includes the original Duff-stamped Presto case. Check out the demo video below!
