Pava Knezevic started her career in luthiery at Collings, building MF-5 model mandolins before moving to the shop of Tom Ellis and helping revive the Ellis mandolin line. Pava Mandolins are still made in the Ellis shop in Austin, Texas, offering players the opportunity to own a “lifetime instrument” at an attainable price. This A5 Pro model features an Adirondack spruce top with tone bar bracing, figured maple back & sides, maple neck with 1 1/8” nut width, compound radius ebony fingerboard, adjustable ebony bridge, “Iris” headstock inlay, James tailpiece, and gold Gotoh tuners with pearloid buttons. Cosmetically the mandolin is in fine condition, with no major play wear to report. Comes in a hardshell case.
