This Authentic '31 D-28 is a beautiful slope shoulder 12 fretter with an Adirondack spruce top and visually stunning Madagascar rosewood back and sides. It had some finish issues with top, so it was sent off to be refinished by Third Coast Guitar in Chicago. Even the most discerning eye would be hard pressed to ever know that this guitar was not totally factory original, but allows you to get into a Madagascar rosewood Authentic Martin at a nice discount. As with all Martin "Authentic" guitars, you get period-correct specs and materials in every painstaking detail, from hide glue construction to the vintage neck taper with a 1-7/8" width. Cosmetically the only visible "flaws" are where the binding was repaired at the waists, but otherwise excellent condition. Comes in the original hardshell case.
