This 1950 Martin D-18 is an excellent example with plenty of low-end and projection at the flick of a wrist! The finish is original and untouched, as are the pickguard and nut. The tuners were replaced with vintage-correct repros, and the bridge is a nicely made replacement as well (the bridge plate is original). The guitar also received a well-executed neck reset and refret prior to coming to us, imparting excellent playability across the fingerboard. The lone crack is a previously repaired pickguard crack...otherwise the instrument is crack-free. Tonally, it sounds like a really good old mahogany guitar...nice and dry with plenty of pop!
