This D-18 is an excellent-sounding instrument, and a great way to get into the wonderful world of vintage Martin guitars! It retains the original finish, bridge plate, and pickguard and is crack-free. The bridge is a nicely made replacement, and the guitar received a previous refret and neck reset that imparted excellent playability. The open gear Grover tuners are not original to the guitar but work very well. There is some minor finish touch-up behind the bridge, and some slight discoloration around the heel from the neck reset.
