Here we have another wonderful bluegrass guitar from NC-based luthier Jeff Huffman! This recent Huffman D-18 features a Carpathian spruce top with scalloped forward-shifted bracing, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 1 3/4” nut width with fairly even taper, rosewood bridge with drop-in saddle, and open-gear tuners. Cosmetically the guitar shows virtually no play wear. Tonally, it has the combination of a very present low end and cutting high end that makes for a great flatpicker. Comes in a hardshell case.
