This early Gibson L-1 is a very fine example, both in terms of originality and tone. Structurally, there is a repaired center seam separation but no other cracks, loose braces, or major repairs of any kind. The finish, tuners (with the exception of the plastic buttons), bridge, bridge plate, and pickguard are all original to the instrument. The "V" neck profile and 1 3/4" nut width make for a very comfortable playing experience, and the tone is most excellent...check out the demo video below!
