This ’49 J-45 features a spruce top with scalloped x-bracing, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck with a very slightly tapered “C” profile, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, tortoise-style pickguard, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. The bridge and bridge plate are both original, as are the pickguard and tuners. There is one crack below the bridge that can’t be seen from inside with an inspection mirror (the larger mark to the left of it is a scratch), as well as a repaired pickguard crack. A small hole in the top near the pickguard was plugged and touched up, as well as a small repair area on the bass side near the neck heel. Some finish was removed from the neck and some capo marks were repaired, and the back has received some light overspray. A previous neck reset & refret have already been performed, and the new frets show very little wear. Comes in a hardshell case.
