This 50’s reissue Stratocaster is from the earliest days of the Fender Custom Shop, with September 17, 1988 stamped in the neck pocket and a “9-26-89” neck date. The neck pocket is stamped “Art Esparza” and the neck itself is stamped “S. BUEHL”, both of whom went on to be Master Builders with Fender. Aside from the replacement pickguard, the guitar is in fantastic, original condition with 37th week of ’88 pot codes. It features an alder body with Olympic White finish, maple neck, and gold hardware. Comes in the original tweed Fender case.
