This Collector’s Edition Telecaster, #0487 of 1,998 pieces, was a limited run that featured an ash body, one-piece maple neck with “soft V” profile and 9.5” radius, abalone dot inlays with “1998” pearl inlay at the 12th fret, gold-plated vintage-style hardware, and a numbered and engraved neck plate. This Telecaster has had a few player’s modifications: the bridge plate was swapped for a Joe Barden bridge plate, and the pickups are Lindy Fralins. There is a gold Fender bridge plate in the case (were you to want to go back to a more factory look), as well as a gold ash tray cover. Comes in the original hardshell case.
