This B-135 (-441) was made by Gibson during their brief run manufacturing upright basses and fiddles from 1939 until December 1941 at the onset of WWII. Estimates place total production of all three models offered at under 100 instruments. This example is in excellent condition and still retains the original blonde finish over figured maple laminate, original rosewood fingerboard, tailpiece & endpin, original Kluson tuning machines, and even the original canvas cover!
