This Fender Telecaster’s neck plate would date it to ’73- the slight notch on the bass side of the neck pocket would conform to specs of early in the year. The neck is stamped 3SEPT72B; the pots were likely changed in the late 70’s as they date to 1979 (but are still 1 MEG Audio taper CTS pots). Everything else on the guitar appears original, including the finish, tuners, bridge plate, saddles, and pickguard. The original frets certainly show some wear, and the guitar would benefit from a refret but is still playable as is. Weighs in at 9.45 lb. Comes in the original hardshell case.
