New price! Based on the J-200 introduced by Gibson in 1937, the SJ-200 Standard combines vintage appointments with modern features to make for an outstanding acoustic guitar. Its features include a AAA-graded Sitka top, AAA-graded Eastern curly maple back & sides, hand-scalloped top bracing (patterned after the '37 J-200), rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges & graduated crown inlays, tortoise pickguard with the traditional hand-engraved floral and vine design, and gold Grover tuners. The original L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup was removed in favor of a K&K Pure Mini, but will come with the guitar and could be reinstalled at the buyer's request. Cosmetically the guitar shows hardly any signs of play wear, and comes in the original hardshell case.
