This 2020 Custom Shop '54 reissue is a rock machine, with the perfect 50's "Chunky C" neck profile for those that don't like the SlimTaper necks of the 60's. This R4 features the Custom Shop's VOS finish, hide glue neck joint, CustomBucker soapbar P90 pickups, aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid fingerboard inlays and a thin, vintage-correct nitrocellulose finish. There is a headstock break that was repaired by Gruhn Guitars in Nashville, TN. Neck profile measures .0924 at the 1st, 1.014" at the 12th. 8.45 lb. on our shipping scale.
