This PB-6 is one of 30 plectrums made during the model’s first run, and is an extremely nice, original example! The conversion neck was allegedly made by Gibson per the current owner, and the original plectrum neck and plectrum case are still with the banjo. The Style 6 features a curly maple neck, ebony fingerboard with “Hearts & Flowers” inlays, figured maple veneer resonator over poplar core, gold-sparkle binding on resonator & neck, lightweight, high-profile flathead tone ring, 2-piece flange, notched brass stretcher band, gold plated and engraved armrest, stretcher band, tone ring, and tailpiece, finished in lacquer over Argentine Grey stain.
