2011 Wechter Scheerhorn Rob Ickes Signature
SOLD
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

The Rob Ickes Model was born from a short-lived partnership between Tim Scheerhorn and Wechter Guitars, allowing for folks to get a Scheerhorn designed instrument without the high cost and long wait time normally associated with his work. The manufacturing was done in Asia, with the final routing, assembly, and set up done at Wechter’s shop in Michigan. Features of the Rob Ickes signature model include a spruce top, rosewood back & sides, ivoroid binding, herringbone trim, and a tortoise-style pickguard. It also features Scheerhorn-designed parabolic reflectors designed to direct air toward the sound holes. This instrument shows a bit of average play wear on the top and back, with some tarnishing on the bridge cover and some swirling/clear coat marks on the back. Comes in a hardshell case.
