This L-5 CES has the Gibson humbucker tone that folks hunt for: open and airy, but plenty of authority as you roll up the volume on the Patent Number humbuckers. This guitar still sports the original finish, pickups & wiring harness, knobs, tailpiece, and bridge. The tuners were replaced, as was the disintegrating pickguard. There is repaired crack on the top’s bass side near the f-hole, and a very well-hidden break on the back of the headstock that didn’t go all the way though. Previous work includes a refret and new nut, making for a wonderful playing guitar. Comes in the original hardshell case.
