1918 Gibson H-2 Mandola
SOLD
Case: Non-original chipboard case
Description:

This H-2 Mandola features a deep, resonate tone in a great-playing package! It sports an Adirondack spruce top over carved birch back & sides, three-piece mahogany/ebony neck with bound ebony fingerboard, Fleur-de-Lys & “The Gibson” headstock inlays, and engraved “The Gibson” tailpiece. The tailpiece appears it may be a later replacement, and the bridge is a more modern adjustable-style unit. The tuners are original. The instrument itself has received an old refinish, and the back center seam partially opened up and was re-glued. Thanks to a complete refret, this mandola plays excellent with a straight neck and comfortable action. Comes in a chipboard case.
