Signed by head luthier David Harvey in February of 2021, this F-5G model is a beautiful instrument that shows why Gibson is still the first name that comes to mind in the world of F-style mandolins. The F-5G features a carved spruce top with tuned parallel tone bar bracing, carved maple back & sides, maple neck with 1 1/16" nut, Macassar ebony bridge, flowerpot headstock inlay, lacquer finish, and nickel-plated hardware. The only modification to the instrument is the scooping of the fingerboard extension, which was performed by luthiers Hanson & Crawford. Cosmetically the mandolin is in great shape, with minimal play wear on the top and back. Comes in the original hardshell case.
