2003 Gibson F-5 Fern
SOLD
Case: Original hardshell case
Description:

This F-5 "Fern" was signed by Danny Roberts on September 24, 2003, and is in beautiful condition for almost 20 years old! The F-5 "Fern" features a scroll body with two points, multiple bound spruce top, ebony bridge, elevated multiple bound tortoiseshell pickguard, gold "The Gibson" engraved tailpiece, multiple bound figured maple back & sides, figured maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard, multiple bound dark rosewood headstock overlay with The Gibson logo and decorative fern inlay, bone nut, vintage-style open gear tuners, and a gloss nitrocellulose finish.

There are a few shirt button "swirls" on the back, but no majors dings or dents. There is some fret wear showing under the E & A strings through the first five frets, but the mandolin plays well as currently set up. 1.073” width at the nut, V neck shape, non-radius fingerboard.
