Oliver Apitius is a well-regarded mandolin builder with quite a long wait list these days. This pre-2015 “Classic” model features a hand-carved spruce top, book matched maple back & sides, figured maple neck, ebony fingerboard with compound radius, 1 5/32” nut width, multi-ply body and peghead binding, ivoroid bound neck, “Flowerpot” headstock inlay, hide glue construction, hand-applied spirit varnish finish, and gold open-gear tuners

The mandolin received a professional set-up after coming in with no bridge or tailpiece installed, and is in excellent overall cosmetic condition. The frets show virtually no play wear, and there are no major finish imperfections to note. Comes in a hardshell case.
