1938 Recording King Carson Robison Model K
SOLD
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

When you own a guitar shop, sometimes the same instruments seem to pop up more than once, and we were really glad to bring "Tommey" back in! This Recording King Carson Robison "Model K" was converted to x-bracing by David Sheppard many years ago, and is one of the best x-brace conversions we've sold. David used Adirondack for the top bracing, and installed a new bone nut and saddle. The bridge, pickguard, and tuners are all original to the guitar. There are several old repaired cracks (three in back, two on the side, and two on the top by our count) that were all there when we first encountered this guitar some years ago; none have moved. There is also a small splice in the back on the lower bass side (contact us for more photos!). This thing has all the mojo and tone you could ask for in a small body acoustic. Comes in a newer hardshell case.
