We are always pleased to be able to offer a guitar from the Martin Custom Shop, but this one has some of our all-time favorite appointments! It features an Adirondack top, Adirondack "Golden Era" scalloped top bracing, Indian rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with "Mod V" profile and 1 3/4" width at the nut, ebony bridge with long saddle, ebony fingerboard with long pattern "diamonds and squares", Gotoh open-geared tuners, and a fossilized ivory saddle and nut. Special cosmetic appointments include the darker, "1935 style sunburst", torch headstock inlay, and paper label signed by C.F. Martin IV. Cosmetically the guitar was very well kept, and shows only light handling and play wear, mostly swirl marks in the darker parts of the sunburst. Includes the original hardshell case.
