2003 Martin D-28 Clarence White
SOLD
Case: Original hardshell case
Description:

This D-28 Clarence White (#104) is based on his workhorse D-28 that eventually went to Tony Rice and over time came to be known simply as “The Antique”. It features an Adirondack spruce top with forward-shifted, scalloped X bracing and an enlarged soundhole, East Indian rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with “modified V” shape, extended ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge with long saddle, "Dalmatian" style pickguard, and Waverly Butterbean knob tuners. Our luthier went through the guitar and dressed the frets, re-glued the bridge in nearly imperceptible fashion, and set it up. The guitar plays fantastic with ideal action and saddle height.  It sports a bit of average play wear- button wear on the back and some clear coat marks on the top. 1 11/16” nut width, 2 1/8” string spread. Comes in the original hardshell case.
