Here’s yet another D-18 Golden Era, this time a bit more recent than the other two we have available. It offers vintage-inspired specs that includes an Adirondack top with forward-shifted scalloped bracing, mahogany back, sides & neck, “Modified V” neck profile with standard taper, ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, ebony bridge with “through” style saddle, 1 3/4” nut width, and Waverly tuners. There is some minor play wear, primarily shirt button marks/swirls on the back. It is currently set up with medium/high action for bluegrass rhythm playing (8/64” low E, 7.5/65” high E), but with room to come down thanks to a healthy saddle height (10 & 8/64”). There is some noticeable fret wear under the B string through frets 1-5, and the binding was re-glued on the back at the treble side waist. Comes in the original hardshell case
