The D-18 Golden Era was one of Martin’s most popular models during its run, offering vintage-inspired specs and top notch materials at a price that wouldn't break the bank. The Golden Era 18 features an Adirondack top with forward-shifted scalloped bracing, mahogany back, sides & neck, “Modified V” neck profile with standard taper, ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, ebony bridge with “through” style saddle, 1 3/4” nut width, and open-gear tuners. This particular model shows some minor play wear on the top, some light shirt button marks on the back, and a couple small dings that didn’t break the finish. The bridge has been re-glued, and the bridge pins were upgraded to pins with abalone dots. There is minimal fret wear, mostly under the B string, through the first three frets. The guitar is strong tonally, with a very bass forward voice and excellent volume & projection. Comes in the original hardshell case.
