1953 Martin 000-18
SOLD
Case: Newer Martin hardshell case
Description:

This fantastic 000-18 from the “Mystery Top” era of Martin production is in very nice, original condition and features an Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back, sides & neck, rosewood bridge & fingerboard, tortoise-style pickguard, and open-gear tuners. The neck does not appear to have been previously reset on this guitar, and the neck angle is still good after all these years! It still retains the original nut and saddle, as well as the original frets. There are two previously repaired cracks on the treble side, two previously repaired cracks on the back’s lower treble bout, and a repaired B string crack. The bridge was removed and re-glued as well. Cosmetically there are two small finish blemishes on the treble side, and what looks like a small case bite. Comes in a modern Martin hardshell case.
