1907 Martin 0-30
$8,995.00
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

The 0-30 is an exceptionally rare model, with only 162 made between 1899 & 1921. Unique in terms of cosmetic appointments, it features an Adirondack spruce top with X-bracing, Brazilian rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with 1 7/8” nut and bar frets, ebony fingerboard with snowflake inlays, ebony pyramid bridge, ivory binding with fancy wood trim on the top, original ivory button on the back of the headstock, and abalone trim around the soundhole.

The original friction peg tuners are no longer with the guitar and were replaced with Schaller tuners, and a pickguard was added to the top’s treble side. The ebony pyramid bridge is a well-made replacement; the original maple bridge plate is in place with a maple helper/cap installed. There is a visible but stable headstock repair, a repair on the treble side lower bout with putty & cleats to address several cracks in that area, and four holes at the end block from a previously installed tailpiece. An L.R. Baggs iBeam pickup was also installed for live-performance. The guitar has had a previous neck reset and partial refret up to the fingerboard extension; it is set up well in good playing condition with Silk & Steel strings. Comes in a hardshell case.
