Kevin Ryan’s instruments have long been prized among fingerstyle guitarists, and when you spend a little time with this Mission Grand Concert it’s quickly apparent why. Balanced with nice projection and a quick response, it has excellent note separation and clarity. It features a Western Red cedar top, beautifully matched East Indian rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with Ryan’s “low profile” carve (sort of a thin C), ebony bridge & fingerboard, bone nut & saddle, herringbone trim on the top, rosette & back stripe, flamed Koa body binding, and Gotoh 510 tuners. Cosmetically the guitar is in excellent overall condition, with only the slightest signs of play wear on the body. 15 1/4” lower bout, 4.5” body depth, 25.7” scale, 1 3/4” nut width.
