1940 c. Kalamazoo KGN-12 Conversion
SOLD
Case: Chipboard case
Description:

This KGN-12 was converted by luthier David Sheppard some ten years ago, and has been played in to the point of perfection. The conversion process involves re-bracing the guitar using an x-bracing pattern seen on similar Gibson models (David used a two tone-bar pattern here). The results are often a fantastic guitar, as is the case with this KGN-12!

This KGN-12 features a spruce top, maple back & sides, a mahogany neck, and is crack-free. The guitar still retains the original finish, bridge, frets, nut, and pickguard. The tuners are proper restoration tuners that work flawlessly. 1 5/8" nut width, 24 3/4" scale.
