1951 Gibson SJ
SOLD
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

This 1951 Southern Jumbo is an excellent, woody sounding guitar (to borrow an overused phrase) that has wear in all the right spots! It is largely original....the finish, bridge, bridge plate, frets, nut, tuners, and pickguard are all original to the instrument. There are five repaired cracks in the top, and two repaired cracks in the back. All have been examined and determined to be totally stable. The was also a pickup installed at some time (possibly a DeArmond style) that left behind two small holes in the top. The tuners are original, but the screws and buttons have been replaced. Tonally, this guitar has "it"...check out the demo below!
