The Les Paul Standard Premium Plus was offered from 2002-2009, allowing for customers to get more figured tops on the redesigned Les Paul Standard model. The updated models featured thinner body & neck binding, gold bonnet knobs with no pointers, and Kluson tuners instead of Grovers. Other specs were standard Les Paul offerings: carved maple top, weight-relieved mahogany body, mahogany neck with 60’s style neck carve, rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, two humbucker pickups, and chrome hardware. The figuring in this particular top is quite nice, and the guitar weighs in at 7.55 lb. Comes in the original hardshell case.
