This Les Paul Classic is one of the earliest we’ve seen from the model’s third introduction; technically reintroduced in 2014, this guitar features a 2013 serial number. This model also features an ebony finish, which was part of a limited run during the first two years of resumed production. Other features include a mahogany body with maple top, mahogany neck (.808" at the 1st fret to .874" at the 12th), rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, and “Gibson Deluxe” keystone tuners. Weighs in at 9.5 lb. This guitar has had upgraded Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups installed, as well as 50’s style top hat knobs. Cosmetically, the guitar shows some pick marks on the bass side of the top and button marks on the back; all things to be expected on a guitar with an ebony finish. Comes in a Gator hardshell case.
