The 1929 Gibson L-0 features a mahogany top, back, & sides, mahogany neck with 12 frets clear of the body, unique short rosewood bridge with "slight belly and straight-bevel ends", rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, "The Gibson" silkscreen logo, and three-on-a-plate tuners. The tuners are original with the exception of the "D" tuner button. The bridge is an expertly made replica, as is the maple bridge plate. The center seam above the bridge was previously reglued in addition to the two cracks below the bridge. There are two reglued back cracks near the bass side binding on the lower bout. The two cracks in a similar spot on the treble side received three small mahogany cleats. There are also three small holes above the end pin from a previous tailpiece, one of which was filled with a small mahogany plug. The guitar is in excellent playing condition thanks to a previous refret, neck reset, and new saddle.
