Description:
This one is a rare bird- less than 150 J-50s were produced during the Banner era, and this one’s FON is listed in Spann’s book as such. It’s had some extensive repairs over the years- there is a bit of forward bridge lean, 6 large top cracks, a replacement bridge and bridge plate (a large rosewood plate, probably to combat bellying behind the bridge), and 3 repaired back cracks. The finish is original, although there is some localized touchup around some of the crack repairs. The guitar has had a previous neck set and fret work, and is in good playing condition. Comes in a hardshell case.
