The J-45 has long been the flagship of the Gibson acoustic line, gracing stages since its introduction in 1942. This J-45 takes its cues from a 60’s model and features a solid Sitka spruce top with hand-scalloped bracing, solid mahogany back & sides, solid mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and rounded neck profile, standard 1 11/16” nut width, rosewood bridge with solid drop-in saddle, large single-point pickguard with Gibson logo, factory-installed LR Baggs VTC pickup system, finished in a limited edition “Wine Red” finish. This particular guitar shows a bit of average play wear, but has been well cared for. It shows some average play wear (light clouding in the finish from arm wear, some minor dings that don’t break the finish, and some button wear on the back), but overall has been well maintained. Minimal fret wear, primarily under the B string. Comes in the original hardshell case.
