1957 Gibson ES-125TD
SOLD
Case: Original Gibson chipboard case
Description:

New price! The ES-125 was the successor to the ES-100 as the entry point for the archtop line; the two pickup thinline ES-125TD was introduced in 1956. This 1957 model is in wonderful original condition; it retains the original finish, adjustable bridge, tailpiece, tuners, knobs, pickups, and wiring harness. Cosmetically the guitar is free from any cracks or breaks...there is some finish checking around the controls, and a bit of wear on the back corner of the headstock. It appears the guitar was marked with a "2" from the factory and someone tried to remove it from the back of the headstock. The guitar plays extremely well, with nice low action across the fingerboard. Comes in the Gibson-badged chipboard case, also in very nice condition.
