This “Banner Era” J-45 is an excellent player that has just been through quite a bit of work to return it to good playing condition. The top was stripped natural and refinished at some point in the past; the back, sides & neck finish are original. The pickguard is original to the guitar, as are the tuners (with replaced buttons). The bridge is a well-sized replacement, and the larger rosewood bridge plate is also a replacement. There are several previously repaired cracks; there are three cracks below the bridge, one on the bass side of the soundhole to the fingerboard extension, and one on the outside edge of the pickguard’s treble side. There is a cleat to the treble side of the end block, and two back cracks that were glued but not cleated (one on the bass side of the back, one just to the treble side of the center seam). The guitar had a recent neck reset and refret, and is in need of nothing other than to be played!
