This D1A features a gorgeous sunburst under its varnish finish, and produces an incredible amount of volume with just the flick of the wrist! It came to us with the body wrapped in a Collings t-shirt in the case; the previous owner was worried about marring the varnish when it was still new, so it didn't really see any playing time! But for a guitar that spent most of its time in the case, this one has a big, open voice. It features an Adirondack top over mahogany back & sides, standard "modified V" mahogany neck with 1 23/32" nut width, ebony bridge with drop-in saddle and 2 3/16" string spacing, ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, and open-gear Waverly tuners. There is virtually no fret wear, and the guitar itself is in fantastic, nearly un-played condition. Comes in the original hardshell case.
