This Collings D1 T originally shipped from the Collings factory in February of 2018, and features a torrefied Sitka spruce top, custom Traditional Series pre-war scalloped bracing (no tongue brace), Honduran mahogany back & sides, Honduran mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with 14”-26” compound radius, bone nut, “long style” bone saddle, nickel Waverly tuners, and an ultra-thin gloss nitrocellulose finish. 1 3/4” nut, 2 5/16” spacing at the bridge. The guitar itself is in very nice cosmetic condition; there is a small ding in the top above the bass side of the bridge, and some light shirt button swirls on the back. Tonally, the guitar is very strong overall, with exceptional response in the low-mid registers and that signature Collings chime. Check out the demo video below!
