This Collings CW BaaaA (serial number 11347) is a powerful, punchy dreadnought with nice note separation and an articulate top end that Collings guitars are known for. Based on the Clarence White D-28 that was made equally as famous by Tony Rice, this guitar features AAA-graded Brazilian rosewood back & sides, a nicely grained Adirondack top, 1 23/32" nut width, pre-war scalloped bracing pattern, ivoroid bindings with herringbone top purfling, ebony bridge & fingerboard, and a "Dalmatian" pickguard to complete the look.
