Caleb Smith is not only a fine builder of guitars in the Western NC mountains, but he is a vocalist and guitar player for multiple-time IBMA award winners Balsam Range. This Cruiser model was actually played on tour by Caleb and has seen of the biggest stages in the world, including Carnegie Hall! It features an old-growth Adirondack top and Locust back & sides, making it fully CITES compliant for international touring (and in this case, international shipping!). The Cruiser model is best described as a slightly shrunken dreadnaught body shape with a short scale length and 1 3/4" nut, making it an ideal guitar for travel & performance. It still has the L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup that Caleb installed as well. Obviously it shows the honest play wear of a guitar that was toured, but is in great playing shape and is ready to go.
